Ingredients

Apple Filling

  • 2 Red Apples (about 250g)
  • 2 Green Apples (about 250g)
  • 1 Tbsp Salted Butter
  • 3 Tbsp Brown Sugar
  • ½ Tbsp Cornflour in 1 Tbsp Water
  • ¼ Cup Water
  • tsp Cinnamon

Crumble

  • ½ Cup Rolled Oats
  • ½ Cup Plain Flour
  • ½ Cup Light Brown Sugar
  • ½ Tsp Cinnamon
  • ¼ Tsp Salt
  • ¼ Cup Melted Butter

Instructions

Apple Filling

  • Peel and chop the apples into ½ inch cubes.
  • Add the apples, butter, brown sugar and cinnamon to a pot on medium heat.
  • Cook the apples until they become soft, about 15-20 minutes depending on your preference of texture and size of diced apples.
  • Add the 1/4 cup of water to the apples and let it come to a boil.
  • Add the cornflour to 1 tbsp of water, mix well and add to the pan.
  • Cook for 2 minutes and set aside.

Crumble Topping

  • Place all ingredients except melted butter into a bowl and toss until combined.
  • Add the melted butter and stir with a fork until you get a crumbly mixture. Some pieces will be bigger than others, but that’s okay.

Assembly

  • Turn the air fryer on and set the temperature to 160.
  • Grab four ramekins and butter the base and sides.
  • Divide the apple mix between the four ramekins and top with the crumble.
  • Air fry 2 ramekins at a time for 5-7 minutes until the top looks golden brown.
  • Serve warm with ice cream, caramel sauce or whipped cream.
  • Enjoy!
