One Serving of Nuts

How many is too many? More importantly, how many is one serving? Is it a handful? If so, whose handful? Because my handful of pistachios is like, 10.

About 80% of a nut is fat, and while that’s ‘good’ fat, it’s still a lot of calories. Which is why it’s advised to limit how many you eat in one sitting. One serving of Pecans is about 190 Calories. For reference, a well balanced snack should be around 200-300 calories.

Now, I’m not a huge fan of nuts, but I’ve been trying to eat healthy for a while and eating healthy means you have to include every major food group in your meals, fat being one of them.
